Status note
Forest Order 09-05-21-26-08 (supersedes -06): Trail 119 closed Oct 4 - Dec 31, 2026 unless rescinded, for culvert removal/replacement. Closure starts on Trail 101 about halfway between KC Pavilion Trailhead and Cobb Ridge Campground and runs about 1 mile south to rejoin Trail 101. Most of the system stays open. The closure alert page itself still shows the earlier order's dates (Sep 4-Oct 6) with a banner pointing to the extension. Cobb Ridge area may see road-grading delays on FR 557 (alert 2026-10-23). Older third-party sites wrongly say UTVs are banned; USFS says UTVs are allowed.
Editor note (preview only)
USFS page text is inconsistent about whether the Family Play Area is west of Cobb Ridge or Camp Ridge campground - check the map before publishing.
