Editor note (preview only)
Mileage is DirtCompass's own sum of MVUM road segments open to ATVs (ATV-open roads within lat 34.95-35.06, lon -94.44 to -93.66 (clipped at 34.95N)); MVUM is the legal source, not this number. Separately-listed trail systems in the same district are not included in the road mileage. USFS posted (2026-06-01, page updated 2026-06-08) that it is reviewing a 2026-05-29 Executive Order that may affect travel management; 'at this time, there are no changes to existing road, trail or OHV designations'. Re-check before publishing. Edge of region (south limit): the ATV-open roads shown are only the part north of 34.95N. Ouachita NF rules: operate only where designated; state-approved muffler/spark arrester; no recreational riding inside developed campgrounds.
